As you may be aware, under the current Aged Care On-site Pharmacist (ACOP) Measure Rules, pharmacists who hold a valid Medication Management Review (MMR) Credential Number may participate in the ACOP Measure until 30 June 2026.

In preparation of this temporary transition period coming to an end, the PPA and the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing wishes to remind you that from 1 July 2026, all pharmacists participating in the Measure must be ACOP credentialed, having completed an Australian Pharmacy Council accredited ACOP training program, in order to continue their participation in the Measure.

Please ensure that any affected pharmacists take the required action to complete their ACOP credentialing before this date to help minimise any impact on participation in the Measure.
