Minor wording updates 

The PPA have recently published minor updates to several Program Rules which streamline common terminology or provide further guidance/clarification on existing eligibility criteria. Click read article (below) for more information.

Aged Care On‑site Pharmacist (ACOP) Measure – Residential Aged Care Home eligibility update

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing has advised that residential aged care home eligibility to participate in the Aged Care On-site Pharmacist (ACOP) Measure will not be linked to adoption of an electronic National Residential Medication Chart (eNRMC) system from 1 February 2026.

Support Centre Closure – January Public Holiday

The PPA advises that the Support Centre will be closed on Monday 26 January 2026 due to a national public holiday.

Season’s Greeting from the PPA

The PPA wishes you all the best for the holiday season and advises that the Support Centre will be closed on Thursday 25 December 2025 (Christmas Day Public Holiday), Friday 26 December 2025 (Boxing Day Public Holiday) and Thursday 1 January 2026 (New Years Day Public Holiday).
