Announcement of COVID-19 vaccine third dose for severely immunocompromised Australians

Severely immunocompromised Australians can receive a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Please note the National COVID Vaccine Taskforce is currently finalising arrangements for reimbursement of third doses to community pharmacies. Further advice will be provided during the week commencing 11 October 2021.

Scholarship and University Program Funding Update

Please note that the IDAA Patient Information and Consent form has recently been updated, please ensure you are using the most up to date consent form available on the PPA website prior to providing any new IDAA Services.

Grand Final Friday Public Holiday (Victoria)

The Support Centre will be closed on Friday 24 September for the Grand Final Friday public holiday in Victoria.

Temporary changes to Indigenous Dose Administration Aids (IDAA) claiming timeframes

The Department of Health has advised that a one-off claim extension process will be implemented to enable IDAA services provided in July or August to be claimed up until 31 October 2021, only however, in circumstances where issues gaining patient consent were experienced.
